Scott B. Cryder is a shareholder in the D.C. practice group and specializes in real property tax and condemnation litigation. Scott has extensive experience litigating assessment appeals before the Tax Division of D.C. Superior Court and the D.C. Court of Appeals. Since joining the firm in 2007 Scott has co-chaired several trials before the Superior Court, argued numerous dispositive motions and negotiated hundreds of settlements on behalf of clients. In addition to his experience before Superior Court, Scott regularly represents clients before the D.C. Real Property Tax Appeals Commission and the Office of Tax and Revenue.

Scott originally hails from Cincinnati, Ohio. After receiving his B.A. from Boston College, Scott attended the American University Washington College of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2007.  Scott is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland bars. He lives in the District with his wife Sarah and their son Noah.
